It's finally here...the culmination of nearly three years of community meetings, brainstorming sessions, field trips, and planning by stakeholders throughout the Mid-South Region. The first public draft Greenprint 2015/2040 has been released and now the Mid-South Regional Greenprint Consortium wants your input.
You've probably attended some earlier Pizza with Planners on various components of the plan – from the Bus Transit to Workplace study to more recent presentations about Overton Park and the proposed Heritage Trail project. Now is the opportunity to learn how all of the pieces fit together in a plan that has the potential to transform the region.
John Zeanah of the Memphis and Shelby County Office of Sustainability will present the draft plan on behalf of theConsortium. While there has been unprecedented community input from around the region during the planning process, this will be one of the few presentations of the entire draft plan. Don't miss it!
